St. Jude Higher Secondary School

Message from Provincial

Human society has always desired to have a system of education which focuses on overall development of every child. St. Jude HSS tries to fulfill this basic need of the society. Our vision ‘educate, enlighten and empower’ has been tested over 55 years. St. Jude schools have a humble beginning in 1965. It has always maintained the ideal of the Capuchin fathers' ‘quality education affordable for all’. In this way it has created a different culture in the field of education. Aristotle once said that “educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all”. We try constantly to instil qualities in the children and help them to grow and develop as sensitive, mature and responsible citizens of the future. St. Jude fortunately had and it has committed and supportive management, dedicated teachers and co-operative parents. I congratulate and thank them for their great work together. May God bless all those who toil for the future of the students who are entrusted to this institution.

Words from the Manager

Dear Friends
The vision of St.Jude H.S.S. is unadulterated service to its students in formation and education, guided by the motto “To Serve in Truth and in Love”.It proudly maintains the golden legacy of 55 years, and still functions splendidly well without explicit publicities. The personal witness and appreciation by the former students of St. Jude H.S.S., belonging to different religions and strata of the society from generation to generation itself is its publicity. Its continuously excellent academic results, committed and qualified staff, healthy uncompromising discipline and security of the students, personal attention, efficient, harmonious and amicable atmosphere, moderate and affordable fee tariffs and the efficient and efficacious administration by Capuchin fathers backed by its unique long tradition from 1965 onwards, are its distinguishing features. Most cordial Welcome to St. Jude.

Message from the Principal

Greetings from St.Jude Higher Secondary School.
A well - known    author ,    speaker and    international   advisor on education ,    Ken Robinson observes that “The core purpose of education is to prepare young people for life after school; helping them to build up the mental, emotional, social, and strategic resources to enjoy challenge and cope well with uncertainty and complexity.” Over a period of time, schools have changed a lot and the duty of education is amended to fuel the growth of children in accordance with the changing world. Hence, we agree with Ken Robinson. It’s in this context, that I am pleased and proud to share some thoughts about St. Jude Higher Secondary School. The core of its education is to prepare them for “Life after school.” It’s really that simple as Nelson Mandela pointed out that “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Therefore St. Jude is committed to provide a unique and an exhilarating lifestyle education to students for their life after school and thus to change the world.
